Process before product

We map transport routes, loads, handovers and peak periods. The result: a suitable first use case and a measured baseline.

Select the right technology

AMR, AGV, tugger or forklift: we compare requirements and supplier proposals, including floors, doors, Wi-Fi, load carriers and service.

Build the integration and pilot

Transport orders from WMS or ERP, status updates and exception handling. We develop the interfaces and support the pilot with the equipment partner.

EXAMPLE SCENARIO

A robot for the trips that repeat every day.

A warehouse supplies production with containers. Staff interrupt their work for repeated trips between receiving, storage and a handover station. We assess this single route as the starting point.

A released WMS order triggers transport. Handover is confirmed at the station. A blocked route or missing load alerts the team so they can take over the job.

  • Transport jobs per shift and waiting time at stations
  • Successful trips and required manual interventions
  • Availability including charging, maintenance and faults
  • Cost per transport including integration and support

Joint acceptance decision: scale, improve or stop. The agreed targets guide the decision.

Your software. One connected workflow.

DDC handles workflow design, custom interfaces and reporting. WMS, ERP or 1C connections use the interfaces actually available. Hardware delivery and on-site commissioning are planned with suitable partners.

Autonomy as a service — when the model fits.

Purchase, rental or ongoing service: we compare total cost and responsibilities. Retrofitting existing equipment and teleoperation are assessed as separate options. The pilot informs how operations should scale.

Questions before your first robot

Do we need to buy robots immediately?

No. First we assess suitability and economics. For the pilot we compare purchase, rental and available robot-as-a-service offers.

Can existing machines become autonomous?

We assess the specific model: control interfaces, sensors and the safety concept determine feasibility. Retrofit and teleoperation are possible project options, not a promise for every machine.

What does autonomy as a service mean?

A possible operating model combining rental, software and support within an agreed scope. Machine hours or transport jobs can be billing units. Availability, interventions and responsibilities are agreed in advance.

Who handles safety and commissioning?

The operator, equipment manufacturer and integration partner agree responsibilities. Risk assessment, safeguards, training and acceptance are part of the project scope before regular operation.

How do we measure success?

Throughput, waiting times, completed transport jobs, manual interventions and total cost. Targets and test conditions are agreed before the pilot.
