2022–2023 / ENTERPRISE SOFTWARE

01

Starting point

Different ERP environments and reporting approaches made a common view of financial data difficult.

02

Our role

DDC contributed development work; Heinrich Schneider led the technology as project CTO. The work focused on data consolidation and the associated workspace.

03

Project stage

Development took place in 2022–2023. Ongoing maintenance passed to the client team. The existing interface illustrates the nature of the task.

THE WORKSPACE

A shared view of financial data.

The Consolidated Financials view makes the project tangible. The image shows the interface; it is not a measure of business results.

IN OPERATION: MONITORING THE CONNECTIONS

Every entity monitored separately.

Each company had its own service and a regular sync with its accounting system, including Sage environments in Germany and the US and entities in Poland and the Czech Republic. The status page shows availability over 24 hours and one week.

Status page of the data connections, February 2023: service and sync per entity. The name of one entity is blurred.
DEVELOPMENT SCOPE

Design data and workspace together.

01

Different source systems

The task began with financial information from different entities and ERP environments.

02

Consolidation at the core

Development connected the consolidation of data with a shared workspace.

03

Technical handover

Following development in 2022–2023, the client team took over ongoing maintenance.
